Salary: Bursary available (subject to eligibility)

Hours: 3 days per week for 28 weeks

Who is it for?

This programme is for anyone aged 16–19 who wants to boost their English and maths skills while gaining real-world customer service work experience. You’ll get support with things like staying safe at work, equality and diversity, and learning about British values — plus fun enrichment activities like social media, educational trips, and Canva skills.

It runs for 26 weeks, 3 days a week, face-to-face at our Bristol, Chippenham, or Birmingham centres. You could also get extra help, including a weekly bursary, travel costs covered, or childcare support if you need it.

By the end of the programme, you’ll be ready for a full-time apprenticeship. We’ll also help you build interview skills and find the right placement to kickstart your career.

    • Developing customer service skills
    • Legislation for customer service

Qualifications you need

There are no minimum grades to join — we welcome all learners.

If you’re 16–19 and haven’t yet achieved a GCSE grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and maths, you’ll be working towards your Level 2 Functional Skills in these subjects.
