The Telesales Operative plays a crucial role in the day to day operations of the company. They ensure orders are taken accurately and the customer is handled with TLC. The customer is the life blood of the company so orders need to be dealt with professionally and key information checked in order to start the logistical process which leads to the stock being delivered. Secondly, the job purpose of the telesales operative is to develop what the customer is buying through building a sound working relationship and upselling special offers amongst other things.
• Dealing with customer questions and helping where possible
• Selling special offers
• Sending out catalogues
• Collating email addresses
• Building sound working relationships with all types of customers
• Liasing with other team members ensuring a smooth workflow
• General office duties
