Create a Digital Apprenticeship Service Account
This page will help provide instructions on how to set up your Digital Apprenticeship Service account to access apprenticeship funding, manage your apprenticeships, and ensure we can recruit new talent easily and efficiently for you.
What is the Digital Apprenticeship Service account?
The Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) account is the online system that allows employers to manage apprenticeship funding and approve apprentices. All employers need to create an account, but that’s all you have to do.
Once your DAS account is set up, we take care of the rest:
-
- Recruitment: advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews.
- Managing applications: handling all communications with potential apprentices.
- Apprentice registration: enrolling apprentices onto your chosen programmes.
- Funding claims: submitting and managing apprenticeship funding on your behalf.
All you need to do is set up your DAS account and approve or remove apprentices when prompted. We make sure everything else runs smoothly so you can focus on your business.
What You Need Before Your Start
You’ll need either your organisation’s:
-
- Government Gateway username and ID number
- PAYE scheme reference number and Accounts Office Reference Number (AORN)
You’ll also need to provide your:
-
- Companies House number, charity number or public body name
- email address
- PAYE scheme details
What You Need from Us
When setting up your DAS account, you’ll need to link your account to us as the training provider. Our details are here:
House of Clive (Hair and Beauty) Limited
UKPRN: 10005426
You might wonder why it’s not called Next Level Training. This is because the organisation started as a salon, then developed into a training provider called Reflections Training Academy. Next Level is the business development group within Reflections, but the legal entity for all apprenticeships is House of Clive.
What We Cover
Once your DAS account is set up, we handle everything else, so you don’t have to worry about the administrative side of apprenticeships.
Programme selection
Our Business Development Team will work with you to select the apprenticeship programme that best fits your business needs, covers skills gaps or fills entry level roles.
Job description support
Not only will we ensure the job description meets apprenticeship criteria while remaining flexible and balanced around your schedule. We also upload this onto the DAS account for you.
Recruitment & pre-screening
We advertise, shortlist, and pre-interview candidates through the DAS account and our other recruitment partners so only suitable applicants reach you, completely free of charge.
Eligibility checks
We check that each candidate is eligible and meets not only your requirements but also the apprenticeship requirements before they get to you.
Training plans
Our training plans follow the requirements of the apprenticeship standards set by the relevant awarding bodies.
We then create a structured learning programme tailored to each apprentice, their prior learning and aligned with your business needs and goals.
Apprenticeship agreements
Our Business Development team will book a meeting with you to ensure all paperwork is signed and legally compliant.
In the Employer Pack:
-
- Apprenticeship Agreement
- Skills Scan & Training Plan
- Payment Plan
- Incentives Agreement
- Health & Safety
Apprenticeship contracts
We manage both levy and non-levy contracts on your behalf.
- Apprenticeship levy – for employers with annual pay bills over £3 million.
- Levy transfer – we can help you access unused levy funds from other employers.
- Non-levy funding – we assist you in accessing government funding for your apprentices.
Funding & incentives
We claim the apprenticeship funding on your behalf, taking into account the apprentice’s prior learning and the length of their programme to get it right.
We’ll also keep you up to date on the latest government incentives, so you don’t miss out on any available support.
