URGENT ACTION – Apprenticeship Recruitment News

As a Bristol, UK, based apprenticeship training provider. We specialise in Business Administration apprenticeships, Digital Marketing apprenticeships and Management courses. We are here to give you advice on how to change your permissions on the government website to select Next Level as your Training Provider. The government has released a new system for employers to use when they are selecting a local training provider. The Recruit an Apprentice process has completely changed and this is now achieved through your Digital Account Service. While prospective learners are searching to find an apprenticeship they often look at the website. This has recently undergone a huge change and now employers have to allow permissions for training providers to advertise. In order for us to advertise vacancies through the government website, you, as employers need to give us the relevant permissions via your Digital Account Service (DAS) account! To support, I have added some screenshots below on...

National Apprenticeship Week

National Apprenticeship week is a celebration of apprenticeships across England, with thousands of online events happening this week and the opportunity to explore your other options for Further Education. #BuildTheFuture The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2022 was 'build the future'; the theme encapsulates how apprentices can not only develop their knowledge, skills and build a career, businesses can also develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills. What an apprenticeship means TRAIN – Future proof your workforce or career though an apprenticeship. RETAIN – Apprentices gain the skills and knowledge your organisation needs, learn the values of your business and make impact. They allow you to develop your future workforce and talent. ACHIEVE – Realise the business benefits and career progression available and how apprenticeships and traineeships can help you transform your future. #AskAnApprentice Connor has taken several of our programmes including...

Marketing, how it changes Christmas! From Black Friday promotions to new adverts, what works and what doesn’t?

Marketing, how it changes Christmas! From Black Friday promotions to new adverts, what works and what doesn’t?

As we are approaching the happiest time of year, it’s important to utilise the marketing benefits Christmas has to offer. While we rest up, get cosy by the fire, and begin ramping down at work, the marketing masters come out and shine. With the correct advertising and marketing strategies, sales for your company could skyrocket with festive cheer! Coca-Cola Crazy Whether it be with a simple heart-warming TV ad or a HGV with sleigh bells on it Coco-Cola is the perfect example of amazing advertisements that generate x-MASS sales during Christmas time. Coco-Colas 2020 Christmas advert was the top-performing ad in 7 out of 10 key measures. It scored 96% in terms of long-term return potential, 100% in terms of remember the brand and 96% in terms of creating branded memories. In the 1920's, Coco-Cola decided to ‘adopt’ Santa Claus and transformed him into the iconic character he is today. Much to people’s disbelief (due to great marketing) Santa Claus existed many years before Coco-Cola...

Good News! The Rumours Are True…Sunak Extends Apprentice Incentive

Good News! The Rumours Are True…Sunak Extends Apprentice Incentive

The chancellor Rishi Sunak has extended cash incentives for hiring new apprentices as part of a £500 million jobs support package. You may be aware but incentives for people looking to hire new apprentices were released as part of a way to give the economy that boost it needed after COVID-19. As a result to popular demand, Bonuses of £3,000 for every apprentice a business hires ended in September, but Sunak has prolonged the scheme by four months until the end of January. Apprenticeships are a great way of gaining new skills and experience regardless of your age or previous qualifications. It's super cost effective, so all of programmes range from fully government funded to only 5% needing to be contributed, which is completely covered within the incentive. Do you want to hire a new staff and give them new skills? Or Do you want to upskill your current staff? A day in the life of an apprentice…

A day in the life of an apprentice…

My name is Josie and I am currently studying towards a digital marketing apprenticeship with Next Level Training I first starting my apprenticeship by spending hour searching through the government apprenticeship site and applying for all kinds of roles, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do but knew I needed to gain the experience. Having spent 6 weeks trying to secure an interview I heard back from Next Level and they set me up really quickly to meet my now employer The first couple of weeks I was really unsure, this was my first real 9-5 role and although mum said it would be hard I didn’t believe her! With the help of my tutor and my manager we managed to find a pattern that works for all of us: 8:00AM – I travel to work either by bus or walk each day which suits me, it’s a great way to refresh and get some exercise and even grab a coffee on the way in9:00AM – We have a regular morning meeting where my line manager and the team discuss what we are planning to do each day10:00AM – I...

Diversity statistics for workforces in Bristol and how to improve your hiring process

Diversity statistics for workforces in Bristol and how to improve your hiring process

At a time when the nation is either standing with Rashford for all the good he has done to feed children in poverty, or vandalising murals because he missed a penalty, diversity has yet again been highlighted as a huge issue within the UK which affects all aspects of our lives. This is an incredibly important discussion for everyone, especially in the workplace. Across the UK just 1.5% of bosses are black, only 6 women run FTSE 100 companies and a third have no ethnic representation on their boards. In Bristol, you can read on reports of the significant issues for equality and diversity:  The average gender pay gap is 4.08% and the difference between the highest and lowest gender pay gap is 8.9%.  The City Council is one of a small number of employers in the UK to publish the ethnicity pay gap. No employers have been identified who publish the disability pay gap. The reported ethnicity and disability pay gaps rely on holding equalities information for all employees. 91% of...
