The dust has settled on 2023, a year where we have re-emerged from the pandemic. Have you set your New Years Resolutions? As we put down our bucks fizz and grab our nearest and dearest to welcome in 2024, it’s natural to turn to the rear view mirror, reminisce the year behind us and drive forward to the road ahead.

2023: Triumphs and Tribulations

For some, 2023 was a year of remarkable achievements. At Next Level we celebrate our 100% pass rate and over 60% distinction rate for our learners. Think about some of your achievements…perhaps you scaled a career milestone, nurtured a relationship, or finally conquered a personal Everest. Maybe you rediscovered a buried passion, painted the town red with loved ones, or simply learned to navigate life’s curveballs with a newfound grace.

For others, there may be some low points, and unexpected hurdles, personal losses, or global, war, and political uncertainties might have tested your resilience. In these turbulent times, remember to think of those small acts of kindness, support networks and a shared sense of community. Look to do the things that make you happy and give you purpose.

2024: Embracing the new years resolutions and setting goals.

2024 is time to shed the baggage of the past and make room for new dreams and aspirations. For those of you doing dry-Jan we like to think here it’s not all about over promising or setting unrealistic goals, maybe a dry-ish Jan and being totally king to ourselves.

What are our goals for 2024?

Some of your may be aware we have a few milestones coming up this year so keep your eyes peeled for updates from the team.

Here are some ways to embrace the new year:

  • Reflect and Refine: Take time to reflect on 2023. What worked well? What could be improved? Use these insights to refine your goals and priorities for the year ahead.
  • Unleash Your Inner Explorer: Step outside your comfort zone and embrace new experiences. Whether it’s a daring adventure, a creative pursuit, or simply trying a new recipe, challenge yourself to grow and discover hidden talents.
  • Nurture Your Tribe: Cherish the connections that enrich your life. Prioritise quality time with loved ones, express your gratitude, and cultivate meaningful relationships.
  • Practice Gratitude: Remember, even the toughest chapters hold valuable lessons. Cultivate an attitude of gratitude for the blessings of 2023, both big and small. This positive outlook will pave the way for a fulfilling 2024.

Remember, the future is not set in stone, it’s hard to know what might possibly be around the corner but that’s the beauty in life.

Here are some tips to help promote your 2024 wellbeing and maybe set some 2024 new years resolutions and beyond:

  • Connect more and share your joys and sorrows, offer support, and simply enjoy each other’s company
  • Try something new; maybe you’ve always wanted to do a pottery class, digital detox weekend, or reverse gratitude?
